Nearly half of all visits to the Suffolk energy-from-waste facility are from schools, colleges and clubs.

We provide age appropriate educational activities for all visitors from ages seven and up. We have been awarded a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge for our commitment to providing high quality learning outside of the classroom. Visits are a great opportunity to see first-hand what happens to non-recyclable waste in Suffolk, as well as learning about reducing, reusing and recycling.
