Suffolk energy-from-waste facility annual report 2023 published
SUEZ recycling and recovery UK and Suffolk County Council have been working in partnership for nine years, putting waste to good use in Suffolk.
In 2023, we put 294,607 tonnes of waste to good use, using it as a fuel to generate enough electricity to power 52,243 homes.
We welcomed 1,797 visitors to the facility from a range of adult and educational groups, and took part in many large events such as the Suffolk Show and Latitude Festival.
