We were proud to participate once again in the recent Heritage Open Days. This year’s theme was Everyday Histories. Working closely with Suffolk County Council, we put together a presentation about the history of waste in Suffolk, which our guests found interesting, and which highlighted the vast improvements that have been made to waste processing in the county over the years.

Visitors were then taken on a full tour of the facility, which they found to be both fascinating and thought- provoking.

Every September, Heritage Open Days supports organisations across England to promote and organise events that celebrate our fantastic history and culture.
