Heritage Open Day – 2025
Our Heritage Open Day tours that took place on Saturday 13 September 2025 once again proved to be very popular and we were fully booked. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about how waste in Suffolk is managed, take a tour of the site, and experience our newly-refurbished, interactive visitors’ centre.
We always value feedback from our visitors, so were delighted with the positive comments we received this year!

Heritage Open Days take place annually. The dates for 2026 are 11 to 20 September and, closer to the time, you will be able to search events here.
